We are delighted to announce that Longtail once again dominated the Campaign Brief Online category, with two of the three finalists on the night, and the outright winner for our Dale Alcock 'Zoom' ad. Longtail was also a finalist with our joint submission with The Brand Agency for The Box for Curtin University.
This was the second year that Campaign Brief awarded an Online award, and was our second win, having picked up the inaugural award for the Drug & Alcohol, '
Things Get Ugly on Ice' campaign which you will find in our 'work' section.
The chairman of the judges was Ted Royer, Executive Creative Director, Droga5, New York so we are particularly pleased with the result!
Longtail has bought back the remaining 50% share in the business from The Brand Agency to become fully independent. The Brand Agency has been a great partner and we look forward to continuing to work together both here and in Melbourne. The partnership has been mutually beneficial and our clients have been the big winners. Becoming completely independent was always part of Longtail’s long-term strategy, the current boom in digital advertising simply brought our timeframe forward. As part of its new found independence, Longtail will shortly be moving from The Brand Agency to offices in West Perth, where it will be business as usual.
